How it works
UK News Lens collects public RSS headlines from selected UK news publishers and displays them in one neutral interface. The site does not rewrite publisher articles, scrape full stories or hide the original source. Each headline links back to the publisher.
The purpose is simple: give readers a broader view of what different parts of the UK media landscape are talking about.
What the system does
- Checks selected RSS feeds.
- Caches results for performance.
- Groups sources into broad editorial categories.
- Links readers back to the original publisher.
What it does not do
- It does not claim every article from a source has the same viewpoint.
- It does not rank publishers by quality.
- It does not replace reading the full article from the original publisher.
